
In 1996, Chicago architect Gerty Leong decided to draw a new set of blue prints for her future and follow her lifelong passion for food. Her dream was to create a kitchen ripe for creative culinary minds, and to capture the elusive transcending characteristics of cooking and entertaining.
Four years after opening a successful deli in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, Gerty decided to close the deli doors and focus exclusively on corporate catering. She found that catering to the Chicago business community was a place where she could express her appreciation for all things, creative, designed and delicious.
